Kroma Entertainment Implements Youth Job Leap Grant: 'Employee Satisfaction Rises with Workshops and Enhanced Benefits'

As a new-media production company with many young employees, Kroma Entertainment pays special attention to creating a workplace people want to work in.

The company boasts high employee satisfaction by providing an unlimited snack bar, as well as covering lunch and dinner expenses. Given the frequent overtime in video production, they offer full reimbursement for late-night transportation and guarantee flexible use of annual leave. These investments in employee welfare were made possible through the Youth Job Leap Grant.

Securing young talent is essential for a video production company that attracts significant interest from the youth. However, the burden of labor costs was a major hurdle in recruitment. Kroma Entertainment actively pursued hiring young talent by utilizing the government-supported Youth Job Leap Grant.

Jang Seong-gyeong, Head of Management Planning, stated, 'The Youth Job Leap Grant provided a stepping stone for us to hire the talented young individuals our company needs. Reducing the burden of labor costs while increasing employee satisfaction has become a driving force for our corporate growth.'

The Youth Job Leap Grant is a program that provides up to 12 million KRW over two years to companies that hire young people as full-time employees and maintain their employment for more than six months. It aims to expand youth employment and facilitate job placement for those facing employment challenges.

By expanding the young workforce with the grant, the company has reduced individual workloads and established various internal welfare programs, contributing to a better work-life balance for its employees.

Through this, Kroma Entertainment guarantees a 4 PM finish on the last Friday of every month and invests in employee development by providing job-related training programs and professional literature. Consequently, it provides a stable environment for young talent while driving the company's growth as an industry leader.

Producer Moon Jun-hyeok commented, 'Despite being a startup, the welfare benefits are excellent thanks to the Youth Job Leap Grant. The expanded workforce has allowed for better division of labor, enabling me to focus on my professional role as a producer. I'm very satisfied with the environment that allows everyone to work efficiently.'

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Employment and Labor supported the hiring of approximately 90,000 young people across 37,000 companies last year through the Youth Job Leap Grant program.
