The KBS Announcer Office (Head Kim Tae-gyu) has produced a '2022 Performer Language Education' video. Produced as an 8-minute video for viewing convenience, the 'Performer Language Education' video analyzed data from the Korea Communications Standards Commission and the KBS Deliberation Office to summarize misused broadcasting language into the 'Deliberation TOP 10.'

In the past, the Announcer Office has conducted face-to-face broadcasting language education for performers appearing on KBS, with the pride that KBS's broadcasting language should be the standard for South Korea. However, due to COVID-19, education was suspended for about two years, and this performer education video was produced to suit the current situation where face-to-face education is difficult.

The MC was Announcer Park Ji-won, the anchor of the weekend 9 o'clock news and the host of 'Korean Language Battle,' and Announcers Lee Kwang-yeop, Kim Jin-woong, and Lee Yoon-jung appeared. They added information and fun by introducing unsuitable broadcasting language such as slang, sexist language, physical disparagement, and unnecessary foreign words along with examples.

The Announcer Office stated, 'The performer language education video will also be uploaded to the KBS website, and we expect that viewers who are not broadcasting performers will also be able to examine the characteristics of broadcasting language and correct wrong language habits,' adding, 'In the future, the KBS Announcer Office will continue to strive for the purification of broadcasting language and the realization of the value of the license fee.'
